Recently, a divorce case has arisen regarding an actor whose work many people here in Texas and in the rest of the country are familiar with. The actor in question is Paul Hogan, who played the title role in the popular “Crocodile Dundee” film series.

Hogan’s wife recently filed a divorce petition. Hogan’s wife also starred in the “Crocodile Dundee” movies and the two have been married for over two decades. Hogan and his wife have a 15-year-old son. In her divorce petition, Hogan’s wife has asked for joint custody of the boy.

Sometimes, divorces end up being dispute-filled and contentious. Other times, they end up being fairly amicable. It seems like the divorce of Hogan and his wife is headed towards the latter category. The couple’s split apparently has thus far been quite civil.

One fairly common issue in divorces is the issue of property division. Even in amicable divorces, the issue of division of property can be a very complicated one. One type of divorce in which the issue of property division can get particularly complex are high-asset divorces, given that such divorces often involve a wide variety of different types of property.

It appears that the divorce of Hogan and his wife will be a high-asset one. According to the E! Online article which reported on the divorce, Hogan’s worth is estimated to be around $20 million. It will be interesting to see what resolution is ultimately reached regarding the issue of property division in this divorce.
